As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will play a vital role in educating students about their health care needs and providing them with the necessary support to thrive during their college years. We are seeking passionate and compassionate individuals who can assess, develop, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for our diverse patient population. Opportunity Specifics:
Position: Registered Nurse - Permanent
Location: Arlington, TX (DFW Metroplex)
Facility: Student Health Center
Clinical Setting: Primary Care/Walk-In Urgent Care
Low Patient Census - Adults
Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to assess and care for patients.
Assist with various procedures, such as incision and drainage, sutures, and more.
Execute physician's orders, follow up with patients, conduct EKGs, address orthopedic needs, collect lab specimens, and coordinate referrals.
Triage and provide immediate care for walk-in or call-in patients.
Play an active role in patient education and instruction.
Gain cross-training in other nursing areas, including immunization, women's clinic, and contact tracing.
Candidate Requirements:
Registered Nursing License
Current Texas Nursing License
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
Local, Daily Drive-In Candidate
If you possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) and are familiar with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) requirements, it would be a strong asset.
