Coding specialist

· Bill Medicare and commercial insurance carriers

· Knowledge of LCD’s and NCD’s

· Read and analyze patient charts

· Data entry

· Determine correct coding

· Claim entry

· Resolve billing discrepancies

· Post payments

Medical Biller

· Review EOB’s and post payments

· Follow-up on claim denials

· Run reports and analyze date

· Review patient bills for accuracy

· Transmit claims

· Appeal claim denials

· Insurance verifications

Detail oriented

Able to work independently

Excellent written and verbal skills

Knowledge of EMR
