POSITION: Insurance Clerk/ Billing Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Business Office

HOURS: Full Time

M – F 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY:

Submits claims to insurance payors accurately and timely. Other duties include billing secondary insurance, making claims corrections on the MIDAS system, maintaining the Medicare/Medicaid bad debt logs, and working electronic insurance rejections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate, college preferred.
• Previous experience with insurance companies, hospital patient accounts or registration.
• Knowledge of insurance billing, coding processes, claims filing preferred.
