Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and work area
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Upsell products and promote specials to customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
