RFI Ingredients is seeking a full-time Food Scientist for our Applications Department in Broomfield, CO.

• Food scientist in Applications is responsible to new production development from evaluate market trend and customer’s visions to create formula idea, ingredient and packaging selection, cost calculation, ingredient and packaging sourcing coordination, application and sensory evaluate, sample preparation, to quote sheet creation.
• Food scientist in Applications also work closely with Food scientist in Regulatory department to perform qualification of ingredients, establish specification to suitable for the new product developed, Food safety plan creation, Supplement Fact/Food Information creation, label review and new product launch coordination.
• Attend meeting with sales or with customers and provide support on sales’ inquiry according project need.
• Recosting calculation for alternative ingredients, processing formula change, and pricing change.
• Technical support to internal and external customers utilize food science knowledge.
• And any other projects assigned by Applications manager and VP of Quality and R&D.
