RFB Property Management is Hiring a Leasing Agent Near Washington, DC

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing residential properties. Your role will involve showcasing available units, conducting property tours, and ensuring a smooth leasing process.

Duties:
- Showcasing available rental units to prospective tenants
- Conducting property tours and highlighting the features and amenities of each unit
- Assisting prospective tenants with the application process and gathering necessary documentation
- Conducting background checks and verifying rental history and employment information
- Preparing lease agreements and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Collecting security deposits and rental payments from tenants
- Addressing tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and rental payments
- Collaborating with property management team to ensure efficient property operations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in real estate administrative or sales roles preferred
- Experience with DC Housing is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in data entry and file management
- Knowledge of Fair Housing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Experience with Yardi is a preferred
- Customer service-oriented mindset with exceptional phone etiquette

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
