Role: Manager, Project Management & Installation
We are seeking a manager to provide support to our project management and installation teams. In this role, you will support RF Technologies product installation nationwide. This role will lead the installation team to install and certify all RF Technologies systems. This position also will be responsible for recruiting, training, certifying, and monitoring all 3rd party contract installer team members. The individual will apply a mastery of project management skills to accomplish the goals of delivering the projects on time, within budget and with the highest customer satisfaction. The Manager will establish procedures, develop personnel to a high degree of competency and implement the measurement systems need to be sure these goals are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy of quotes and verify that quoting packages reflect the image of RF Technologies, and set appropriate expectations for long-term, satisfying customer relationships.
Communicate with sales and service during the installation process. Maintain customer records and dashboards for installation as well as updating the CRM on status.
Establish and maintain installation forecasts based on sales funnels from raw leads to closed opportunities. Utilize CRM to report on lead turn-around times, escalations, etc. Generate pipeline reports by lead sources (i.e.: events, Web, etc.). Support sales leaders with accurate territory management dashboards and information related to installations.
Ensure orders are transitioned smoothly to Project Management and track through completion to ensure customer satisfaction. Proactively maintain customer relationships for consumables and parts.
Define the scope of installation activities by frequent interactions with customers, sub¬ contractors, RFT technicians, educational team, and sales personnel.
Continuously improving the quality of installations and overall customer satisfaction.
Ensure that installations comply with all codes and regulations, including the verification of low-voltage state licensing.
Ensure that installations are completed on time and on budget. Ensure margin goals are met.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables.
Prepare annual operating plan and execute accordingly.
Design and implement operational procedures to improve the install team's productivity.
Plan, coordinate, and lead resources required for installations.
Establish, develop, and train the install team, including contractors.
Ensure accuracy and on-time submission of team's paperwork.
Basic Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. MBA a plus.
PMP Certification
Demonstrated leadership/project management qualities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Familiar with building, electrical, fire, and life safety codes and regulations.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
Experience working within the low-voltage security arena.
Skilled in the application of project management techniques and tools.
Hands-on experience with pricing, billing, part numbers, and invoicing procedures.
Experience working with third party sub-contractors, including evaluating and hiring.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings.
Experience working with estimating/pricing tools and customer management applications.
Must be available for frequent travel on short notice (e.g. customer sites).
Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
Exceptional planning and organizing skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
