Employees will be responsible for daily supervision of children and providing tutoring services on a daily basis to children in subject areas such as reading, math, S.T.E.M., and recreational activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitates and creates lesson plans for daily activities
• Organizes and leads various small and large group activities
• Provides high- quality education and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for camp participants
• Assist in maintaining accurate program records, including incident/accident reports, and daily attendance
• Work closely with Camp director and supporting staff to remain organized, follow daily schedules, reports to trips and activities on time
• Supervise camp participants and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill, and general well being
• Attending staff meetings, orientations, etc.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required
• There are certain medical requirements
• Prior experience not required

Applicant's must be able to pass both

• State Central Registrar Clearance ($25 Non- Refundable Fee)
• Department of Health Fingerprinting Background Check (Free of charge)

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with kids
• Excellent writing skills
• CPR/ First Aid Certification is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 19 per week

• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
