Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Career and Technical Education, Serve as the first Career & Technical Education (CTE) point of contact to all staff, community members and community partners. Perform a wide range of administrative duties associated with supporting the CTE Director and program staff, with routine work activities and special projects including coordination, correspondence, research and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Bonding and/or Testing Required: High School Diploma (Associates Degree?preferred); Oregon Fingerprinting and Criminal Background Check clearance.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge to articulate rules and regulations, District policies and procedures, and contractual language related to CTE. Career & Technical Education administration. Excellent and effective customer service.
Skills to operate standard office equipment with advanced experience working with?Microsoft Office?Suite and other industry related technology applications. Use English in both written and verbal form to prepare correspondences, reports, spreadsheets and other documents; perform mathematic calculations, and apply basic accounting principles?and practices. Speak, read and write Spanish effectively preferred.
Abilities to work well independently and as part of a team; work accurately and with attention to detail. Maintain multiple priorities to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Possess a high degree of organization skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
Prior job-related experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in a school and/or public employment environment.Prior CTE experience preferred. Three years of responsible and technical experience.
