Job Highlights:
Interpret customer requirements and drawings.
Perform product inspections and testing including, but not limited to, startup approval checks, quality checks and variety changes to ensure product meets Reynolds/customer specifications.
Perform special testing requirements for designated items/orders.
Identify non-conforming product and take necessary actions to document and segregate.
Investigate and resolve internal nonconformities in the form of spot checking, backtracking, or rework duties.
Generate and/or verify labels and pallet tags for finished product identification.
Conduct final inspections and close out paperwork.
Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures.
1. Understand and follow food safe work practices.
2. Enter job name/number and/or downtime information on timecard.
3. Complete accurate time keeping as required recording per job.
4. Housekeeping of bag department including sweeping and emptying trach cans daily.
5. Quality control:
a. Constantly check on quality of product and document results on quality check sheet and keep inventory control samples/customer samples.
b. Communicate quality and productivity issues to supervisor (and document it on the quality check sheet).
6. Read and Understand work order before starting.
7. Put labels on boxes after they have been packaged.
9. Cross train on other machines as requested.
12. Work in a team environment and conduct yourself in a professional manner when working with other employees and/or contractors.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:
1. High school diploma
2. Ability to keep a steady pace
3. Ability to do basic math
4. Ability to read a tape measure/ruler (in, cm, mm)
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Lift up to 50 pounds
2. Stand for a long period of time on a hard surface
3. Perform in a climate -controlled environment (Yes-climate controlled!)
4.Wear hair and beard nets if needed.
