Responsibilities

Pay Transparency Statement:

The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program. 

Position Summary:

This is a role within the Centralized Logistics Department. This person will be responsible for nightly, tactical delivery and merchandising routing as well as strategic initiatives related to continuous improvement and sharing best practices with local operations teams.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

  • Complete daily routing and truck diagramming activities in most efficient and effective manner while keeping safety top of mind
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to identify opportunities for improvement in driver productivity and route efficiency
  • Use routing software or similar tools to perform route optimization projects
  • Function as point person for logistics related matters with designated business units
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues related to operations, sales, and merchandising
  • Collaborate with local business unit leadership on route plan maintenance and updates to maximize efficiency
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field and 0-1 years related experience; OR High School Diploma and 3-4 years’ related experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills – oral, written and presentation
  • Ability to complete time sensitive tasks, demonstrating a sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Experience solving a variety of problems that range from simple to more complex.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; must have intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Must be able to work second shift hours (approximately 10:00am – 7:00pm) and schedule of Sunday – Thursday
  • Expected to travel onsite to business units 1-2 times per year
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Logistics, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Data Management experience
  • Experience in the beverage distribution/transportation industry
  • Process orientated experience/certifications - e.g., Six Sigma, ITIL
  • Paragon, Territory Planner, or similar route execution tools
