Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to construction job sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods/materials/equipment
- Safely transport goods/materials/equipment to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation systems
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to operate tractor-trailers is a plus
