Position Summary :

Manage the Inventory control processes for the facility including physical counts. Ensures adequate levels of material and / or product inventories are maintained.

Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :

• Develops and implements inventory control procedures to include cycle counting and reporting guidelines, problem identification and resolution, and inventory control process improvements
• Count and reconcile the physical inventory on a daily basis; make system adjustments as necessary; includes daily cycle counts and full weekly inventory
• Ensure that product is rotated on the FIFO basis; including establishing procedures for incoming / outgoing product so that proper rotation is followed
• Maintain accurate records to facilitate shortage detection
• Serve as key contributor in the area of inventory optimization
• Independently evaluates data on production needs and inventory to ensure adequate inventory in accord with inventory cycles and organizational needs
• Prepare and implement logical organization (slotting) of warehouse products to ensure successful operations
• Work with procurement to improve the total supply chain process
• Other projects or duties as assigned
