Doorman/Concierge for a Luxury Residential Building in NYC

Our luxury residential building is seeking a friendly and reliable Doorman/Concierge to provide exceptional service to our residents and guests. The Doorman/Concierge will be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing deliveries, and assisting residents with various requests. The ideal candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet residents and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Verify visitor information and record their details in the logbook
• Answer phone calls professionally and assist callers with directions or instructions for the building
• Manage incoming and outgoing laundry, shipments, and mail/packages • Monitor lobby traffic and alert residents to arriving guests and deliveries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks for visitors and contractors
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills

Physical Demands:

• Standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift packages and mail weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs and walk long distances

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
