**Sign Shop Production Specialist** This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience working with vinyl and signage.

SUMMARY: Under general direction, performs a variety of technical and support services involving cutting, weeding, laminating, and packaging vinyl and rigid substate signage.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Weed and premask vinyl lettering and graphics.
Check the print output for quality (color, registration, press flaws, etc.).
Package graphics for shipping
Operate Kongsberg Esko cutter.
Gather received materials and put them away in the proper storage areas.
Ensure all workspaces assigned to the Print & Finishing Departments are clean at all times.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and communicate effectively with co-workers and other departments. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

REQUIREMENTS

Computer literate.
Ability to use an Exacto knife and make precision cuts.
Attention to detail is a must!
Experience with wide-format printers is a plus!
Experience with CNC machines or large format cutters is a plus!
Mechanically inclined.
Able to lift/move/carry 70 pounds.
Requires long periods of standing or walking.
