Responsibilities

Revolution Company is now hiring a Director of Operations. This role can be based in either Mesquite, TX, Little Rock or Stuttgart, AR. We are looking for a proven leader who is dynamic, ambitious, and highly energetic with a passion for consistently achieving goals while optimizing product work-flow and minimizing cost. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Provides focus, direction, leadership, and technical expertise to various Supply Chain and plant personnel.
• Communicates needs and objectives to managers and key personnel in Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Distribution.
• Fosters and promotes innovative solutions that drive cost reduction and continuous improvement of the Supply Chain process.
• Continually evaluates the inventory planning and materials control process, methodologies, and system tools to drive process improvements where appropriate.
• Lead the development of the annual plans and monthly forecasts, including analysis of variances and trends, and weekly/monthly expense/revenue reporting and analysis.
• Assist in the implementation/integration of new systems.
• Handle ad hoc projects and reporting to support the strategic product groups as deemed necessary by management.
• Drive process improvement via root cause analysis, documentation, trials, and confirmation of effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP’s), workflows, and processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Effectively present information to executive management and public groups.
• Perform well in a customer driven, safety conscious organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• A minimum of ten years experience in an Operations leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experience directing the process, including the planning of procurement, production, inventory control, forecasting, scheduling, logistics, and distribution.
• Experience working as a Plant Manager is preferred. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with analytical, spreadsheets, presentations, and word processing software (Microsoft Office).
• Must possess excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
• Must have a strong customer service focus.
• Be disciplined and collaborate well with others to find innovative ways to deliver additional value while finding new or adhering to processes that preserve our environment.
• Some travel is required.
