In this role, you will work closely with our providers and referring sources providing support from intake through closing. You must have a strong passion for helping people and be dedicated to providing a first-class customer experience. An important prerequisite for this position is the ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding to potential clients.
Responsibilities:
• Obtain all needed paperwork for all patients.
Promptly contact and/or follow up with all potential clients via phone and email
• Scrubbing schedule to ensure all paperwork is received.
• Scrubbing schedule pre-appointments to confirm approvals if needed.
• Obtain pertinent information from potential clients by asking them a series of questions professionally and respectfully.
• Establish a relationship and rapport with potential clients by, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Add and update pertinent information into the firm’s client management system.
• Assist attorneys with administrative tasks as it relates to opening new cases, declining cases, and maintaining the firm’s database.
• Communicating with attorneys & billing specialist.
• Reading and interpreting medical records and reports.
• Organizing and maintaining electronic case files and case management system answering client questions and scheduling attorney/client meetings when needed
• Managing sale of individual and bulk files to funding as needed; including preparation of said files for transfer.
• Create weekly claims for all visits/Medications and DMEs.
• Respond to emails in a timely manner. • Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines.

• Backup to PI Specialist, WC Specialist & Executive Assistant
• Sends procedure estimates to funding companies or attorneys (as needed)
. • Requests funding for lien patients (as needed).
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum two to three years of executive support level experience in a high-volume atmosphere. Prefer experience in a health care organization that includes basic knowledge of insurance plans, coverage, and procedures. Experience with case management is a plus. • Excellent eye for detail • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must be comfortable dealing with numbers and processing financial information. • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software; MS PowerPoint and MS Word Processing software, and Electronic Medical Records (Athena) software. • This is a full-time position expected to manage a caseload. A minimal 40-hour work week is required. Currently, this position is remote with in-office requirements and marketing responsibilities.
