The Director of Commercial Roofing is responsible for the growth of the commercial roofing division by overseeing the work of project managers, focusing on production, product quality, client interactions, and sub-management. The Director of Commercial Roofing reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities

- Act in accordance with our Core values and ensure all direct reports are as well

o Lead by example

o Watch for safety issues and enforce company policy

- Reports directly to COO

- Deploy and respond to emergencies (hurricanes, tornadoes, and/or flooding as needed)

o Needs to be fully committed and follow the direction of the COO

- Oversee all assigned roofing projects and statuses, create and maintain job schedules

o Manage roofing payables

§ Approve invoicing from subcontractors and receipts and necessary information to account for jobs correctly

- Identify issues and resolve them before major incident

- Build and manage a commercial roofing sales team

o Control and manage sales team compensation.

- Build and manage commercial roofing operations team

o Control and managing operations team compensation.

- Client management

o Meet with potential clients such as insurance agents, project management companies, 3rd party firms, capital improvement companies, HOAs, and realtors.

- Subcontractor management

o Assess/inspect the sub-contractor's work.

o Ensuring sub-contractors are present and on schedule

o Hold them accountable for their performance

- Attend weekly production meetings

- Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite

- Teach other team members

- Ask for help whenever needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
