Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our team. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components and systems.

Duties

· Fabricate, assemble, and test electronic systems and prototypes

· Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy

· Work with PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for assembly and troubleshooting

· Implement test automation procedures to streamline testing processes

· Conduct quality control checks on electronic components

· Apply mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs

· Solder components onto PCBs with precision

· Perform data collection and analysis for process improvement

· Operate automated optical inspection equipment

· Use calipers for accurate measurements

Requirements:

· Proven experience in electronics assembly and troubleshooting

· Experience troubleshooting electronic devices to component level by sectionalizing, localizing, and isolating defects

· Working knowledge of how transistors, resistors, capacitors, and inductors operate in circuits

· Computer literate having experience with establishing communications between devices using com ports, wireless networks, and wired ethernet connections

· Able to interpret schematics, engineering documents, and BOMs

· Possess a thorough understanding of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators

· Experience working with programming devices and components using equipment such as MPLAB’s and ICD3.

· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and techniques

· Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and techniques

· Strong understanding of quality control standards in electronics manufacturing

· Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs

· Proficient in soldering techniques for electronic components

· Familiarity with automated optical inspection systems

· Skilled in using calipers for precise measurements
