Insulation Crew Chief

Summary

Revise is a Mass Save Home Performance Contractor. We provide no-cost Home Energy Assessments and subsidized insulation and air sealing work for residential home owners in Massachusetts.

We have been steadily growing over the past 5 years and are looking to bring on a Weatherization Crew Chief to perform insulation and air sealing work in customer’s homes.

We are hiring out of all three of our locations, Haverhill, MA; Raynham, MA; Northhampton, MA.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, self-driven, and able to perform in a fast-paced work environment. We offer a unique performance-based compensation plan that rewards quality, speed, efficiency, and customer service.

The successful candidate will give maximum effort and look to improve their personal performance each day. We provide the resources, training, and knowledge to help employees new to the industry and assist experienced employees in become a top of the industry performer.

General Responsibilities

• Lead 1-3 person teams to complete weatherization jobs daily, directing job tasks to technicians
• Provide guidance to technicians on best practices and proper use of personal protective equipment
• Communicate with customers throughout job, provide updates as needed
• Prompt notification of job change orders to ensure accurate invoicing
• Identify materials for jobs and load trucks
• Install insulation, foam board, and complete air sealing in attics, knee walls, and crawlspaces
• Remove siding, drill holes, and blow insulation into exterior walls, often times working on ladders
• Install ventilation on roofs
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor

Job Requirements

• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and quality at all times
• Excellent people skills and focus on superior customer service
• Must be able to work on ladders, roofs, confined spaces and heights up to 40'
• Must be on-time daily, prepared, and ready to work
• Timely completion and accuracy of all work
• Ability to work closely and harmoniously with other employees and be a team player
• Perform and document complete operational checks for all equipment
• Adhere to safety and health regulations as required by OSHA, and all company policies
• Must possess a valid Driver's License
• Successful completion of pre-employment background screen and drug test
• Ability to perform overtime and / or on call duties as required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Arrive at our office daily by 6 : 30am to clean and load the truck for the day
• Experience in the Mass Save Program or other energy efficiency programs is a plus

Work Conditions

• May perform work both indoors and outdoors as needed
• May be exposed to inclement weather conditions and other work conditions including excessive heat, cold, wind, snow and storms
• Requires extensive standing, walking, kneeling and bending
• May be periodically required to lift items in excess of 50 pounds
• Frequent exposure to noise, dust, dirt and other related hazards

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate, plus commission / bonus. Potential earnings of $70,000-$120,000 Annually
