Our Columbus, Ohio client has a contract opportunity for a Information Security Analyst.
Job Description:
- Conduct thorough assessments of third-party vendors to identify potential cybersecurity risks following established processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather necessary information and assess the security posture of third-party vendors.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for identified risks.
- Assist in maintaining a centralized risk registry and ensure accurate documentation of identified risks and mitigation efforts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enforce compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of third-party risk assessments and risks.
- Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to continuously improve our risk management processes.
- Bachelors or Associate degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field and at least 2 years' experience working in cybersecurity (preferably Governance, Risk and Compliance)
