Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our Xcel Only competitive team. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and training gymnastics skills to students of all ages and skill levels. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire and educate young athletes in a fun and supportive environment.
Duties:
- Implement REVEL Gymnastics CT training programs based on the needs and abilities of each student
- Instruct students on proper techniques, form, sportsmanship and safety measures
- Explain gymnastics skills and routines
-Knowledge of the Xcel program
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Collaborate with other coaches in programming development
- Monitor student progress and communicate with head coach regarding your athlete's skill development
Requirements:
- Potential hire must be atleast 18 years old.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and continously follow and promote the REVEL philosophy.
-Previous experience working with students in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, XCEL rules, and safety procedures
- Proficiency in various gymnastics disciplines such as floor exercise, balance beam, uneven bars, and vault
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students
- Maintain a positive training environment
- Must complete Safe Sport Training within 30 days of hire
-Must complete First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire (cost covered by REVEL)
- Additional experience or knowledge in sports coaching (e.g., Track, Dance, Cheerleading, Acro & Tumbling) or physical education is a plus
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. Continued education through USA Gymnastics is availble after probationary period is completed.
