Position Overview
The purpose of the Janitor position is to ensure that the cleaning needs of the facility and residents are met.

This position will be scheduled for PM shifts (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

Essential Job Duties

• Must commit to the Mission and Core Values of the organization and promote facility in a positive manner.
• Checks cart for all cleaning materials required, and lists additional supplies needed.
• Commercial Laundry knowledge
• Commercial Janitorial Duties (carpet cleaning, use of floor machine, knowledge with bonnet and extraction)
• Sanitizes bathroom facilities, and supplies with soap, tissue and paper towels.
• Leaves cart neat and clean and empties all pails of cleaning solution at end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned by Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous institutional cleaning experience preferred. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 unless eligible for a qualified exemption.

The final candidate must successfully pass The Reutlinger Community's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test, COVID-19 test and health screen with or without back evaluation depending on position.
