Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. Must be friendly and outgoing and able to work quickly.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in working order
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures
- Monitor alcohol consumption of customers to prevent over-intoxication and ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with our event facilitators and staff to ensure a great event for your guests
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning glassware, restocking inventory, and completing cash-out procedures
Skills:
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems to process orders and payments
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and mixology trends
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent math skills for accurately calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide friendly and attentive service to customers
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to follow proper sanitation guidelines
- Experience in banquet or event bartending is a plus
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
