What the client really needs is someone who is a hands on Process Engineer that has experience working with high speed automated packaging equipment such as case packers and palletizers with packaging development and design experience. The hiring manager would consider someone who is a Process Engineer that is use to being on the manufacturing floor and has experience working with packaging equipment and is willing to learn packaging development and design.The person must have experience with one or more of the following packaging processes to be considered: flexible, corrugated, folding carton, plastics thermoforming, film, bags, labels, and printing.
This person will provide manufacturing support of packaging equipment and my client is not interested in someone who is a Packaging Engineer working at a desk all day doing design and product development.
