JOB DESCRIPTION:
ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER
LOCATION: Bellevue, Washington
Crossroads Bellevue is now hiring for a Marketing Assistant who is excited to work in a fun, active, and diverse retail environment.
THE MARKETING DIRECTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Front Desk/customer service at our Guest Services office
Administrative duties supporting the Marketing Department
Assist Marketing Manager with event planning & execution
Install/update marketing displays in the common area (posters, tabletop ads, ad screens)
Clean/maintain marketing areas including ad displays, Info Hub, Community Room, etc.
Visit Crossroads businesses to keep marketing informed of sales, events & items to promote
Assist with updating Crossroads website events calendar
Take photos, write copy, and develop content for Crossroads social media accounts
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS:
Able to work holidays, evenings, weekends
MS Office competency
Desire and ability to learn new software
Photo or video editing skills are a plus but not a requirement
Creative
Highly organized with a positive attitude
Flexible, willing to wear many hats and pitch in wherever needed
Excited to talk to people and provide excellent customer service
Able to take initiative & work independently
Able to lift 40 pounds and spend time walking/being on your feet
EDUCATION:
Marketing-related studies preferred (or equivalent experience)
Our ideal candidate is looking for a long-term career opportunity in the field of shopping center marketing & events. You must be able to work during our major shopping center events which include the Crossroads Farmers Market on Tuesdays from June through September, Halloween, and at other events which may fall on weekends or evenings. (We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day so you will not be asked to work on those days, but you may be required to work the day before.) We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for advancement.
BENEFITS: Salary $35,000 - $55,000 (Compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law)
