Resurrection-St. Paul School is a PK-8th grade Catholic school in Ellicott City, MD serving 500 students from the greater Baltimore area. RSPS seeks an innovative, caring, and dedicated Middle School ELA teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Ideal candidates will be willing to collaborate with colleagues, have a clear understanding of adolescent development, and a passion for educating middle school students.

Essential Functions

• Develop weekly lesson plans consistent with curriculum guidelines that motivate, challenge, and engage students.
• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
• Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, parents, and school leadership
• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members in educating students.
• Integrate technology as appropriate to enhance instruction.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and current MSDE certification or willing to obtain
• Successful experience in student teaching or classroom teaching
• Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives
• Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as enriching and differentiating instruction
