Resurge Veterinary Surgical Specialists and Rehabilitation, LLC is a surgical referral practice located in Covington, Louisiana, that is owned and operated by Dena Lodato, DVM, MS, DACVS, CCR. We're currently looking for experienced veterinary technicians to join our ICU team: state registration highly desired. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the care of post-op patients, administration of medications and performing dosing calculations, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, intubation, monitoring of sedated/anesthetized patients, running in-house laboratory diagnostics and imaging, low-stress handling of patients, updating patient records and engaging directly with clients.

The candidate will need to physically lift up to 60 pounds, unassisted.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication and judgement skills.
