Position Description:
Restoration Builders, Inc. is searching for a Legal Secretary and Licensing Specialist to assist in the Companys rapid growth in various legal and operational areas. The ideal candidate will primarily assist the C-Suite and Operations Team in completing and performing administrative work supporting operations in over 15 states. The ability to navigate, understand, and research policy is imperative. Experience in legal research and contractor licensing law is preferred but not required.
Expected Duties:
Research the requirements to obtain a general, residential, or commercial contractor license for the Company. Ex: Bonds, certificates of insurance, workers compensation, permitting process, and other application requirements
Monitor state filings for annual reports and create state registration packets for business, tax, or contractor licenses registrations
Maintain an accurate book of records
Attention to detail and initiative for problem-solving
Being able to work in a diverse group of teams across different levels of management
Perform administrative task as needed
Proficiency in creating corporate policies for legal and operations
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree or Higher-Level Educational Degree
In-depth working knowledge of relevant computer programs, including MS Office, Adobe, and the ability to quickly learn various software program
High proficiency in Excel
Working knowledge of legal research databases
Knowledge of law practices, legal records, and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience preferred but not required
Compensation: $25.00 an hour
