Restoration Builders, one of the nation's largest restoration contractors with a national presence, is seeking to add a personable, experienced CAD technician to its office staff in the California - Murrieta market. As a CAD technician, your role will be to draft permit plan sets and construction layouts to support the completion of home projects.
Work includes but is not limited to: Generator Installation Battery Installation Solar Installation Main Service Panel Upgrade EV Charger Installation Roofing & General Construction projects
Responsibilities include: Drafting, Submitting, and Monitoring permits through the approval process Updating the Permit Tracking Sheet daily Providing status updates to RBI team of permit progress weekly Driving to the local AHJ to pick up/turn in permits and meet with AHJ to discuss permit status Participate in staff meetings
Required Qualifications: Great positive attitude 2 years CAD, Solidworks, Sketchup Rhino, or related experience Strong Passion and Aptitude for Renewable Energy and Sustainability Strong Technical, Hands-On, Interpersonal, and Communication Skills Proficiency in Written and Spoken English, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Valid Driver's License
Education / Certifications: 3 Years Related Technical Education or Experience Valid Drivers License & Means of Transportation
