A Branch Manager is responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction to the employees to ensure that their Branch achieves its financial vision, mission, and long-term goals for the overall Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Direct and manage the business operations for a designated Branch within Restoration Builders, Inc.
Ensure the recruitment and retention of adequate staff to achieve the stated mission and objectives
Determine staffing goals to reach or exceed fiscal revenue goals
Learn and become proficient in company software platforms to perform required job functions
Prepare a budget and annual business plan(s) in the assigned Branch and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the Company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible
Provide strategic advice and guidance to keep Branch team aware of developments within the industry
Ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the Companys mission and objectives and to comply with all relevant statutory and other regulations
Establish and maintain effective formal and informal connections with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the Company is providing the appropriate range and quality of services
Develop and maintain research and development programs to ensure that the Company remains at the forefront in the industry, applies the most cost-effective methods and approaches, provides leading-edge products, and services, and retains its competitive edge
Prepare, get approval, and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met, that revenue flows are maximized and that fixed costs are minimized
Work directly with Market Tactics to develop and maintain an effective local marketing and public relations strategy to promote the products, services, and image of the Company within the community
Represent the Company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, government departments, and other key contacts to help secure the most effective contract terms
Represent the Company in networking associations to establish relationships that are beneficial to the Company
Develop and maintain systems throughout the Company to ensure that the best possible products and services are provided to customers
Develop, promote, and direct the implementation of equal opportunities policies in all aspects of the Companys work
Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the Company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations
Attend required Company and Sales Department meetings and training events
Additional responsibilities as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Experience: A minimum of two to five years of experience in the roofing, construction, or related service industry, including experience managing a team of employees
Leadership: Strong leadership skills and be able to motivate and inspire team members. They should be able to delegate tasks effectively and provide clear direction to employees
Sales and Marketing: Solid understanding of sales and marketing strategies and be able to develop and implement plans to generate leads and close sales
Financial Management: Ability to manage budgets and financial reports, including analyzing financial data and making strategic decisions to improve profitability
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of roofing based software, roofing materials, installation processes, and safety procedures. The (BM) Branch Manager should also be up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They should be able to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and stakeholders
Customer Service: Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts
Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure
Compensation: $55,000-$60,000 per year
