Reston Hospital Center is seeking an organized and goal oriented RN to join our awesome Nursing Administration team! Candidates must have five years of progressively responsible experience in nursing (Critical Care experience preferred), a high level of attention to detail and be able to handle multiple priorities while being able to make effective decisions under pressure. As part of the House Supervisor role, you will provide technical direction and administrative supervision for delivery of nursing and patient care services on assigned shift hospital-wide.   • You will Identifies and work with situations and problems associated with delivery of patient services, personnel management, and policy and procedure enforcement while performing the central authority role in absence of Management or Administrative Team.
  • As a member of the Nursing Administration team, you will assess staffing and utilization of staff based on census, patient ratio and acuity and direct modifications in delivery of care and unit assignments of available staff.
  • Some key responsibilities for you in this role will be to communicate disciplinary problems to appropriate managers, collects and forwards the correct house census to the Accounting Department and Corporate Office and actively participates in Hospital staff development activities.
  • You will also performs efficiently with Meditech/Facility Scheduler/Outlook and HPF.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
