Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of all areas
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct room inspections post housekeeping to ensure cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance
- Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with management on daily basis to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of basic mechanical systems and equipment used in housekeeping operations
-Building maintenance: Experience in maintaining heat furnaces, electrical, and lighting
- Maintenance management: Ability to effectively manage maintenance operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Project management: Strong project management skills to oversee renovations, upgrades, or other housekeeping-related projects
-Profiency in Google applications (doc, excel, etc.)
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the housekeeping team
- Maintain: Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Logic controllers: Familiarity with logic controllers used in building automation systems
- Manage: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
