This position owns the gathering, analysis and interpretation of data related to supply chain operations within the company. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data and creating supply chain performance metrics dashboards including inventory, freight and transportation costs, warehouse and manufacturing efficiency, planning, and forecasting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making within our supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, logistics, procurement, freight management, forecasting and demand and supply planning.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track key metrics related to inventory levels, supplier
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and logistics, to gather data and
- Utilize statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors contributing to supply chain issues and develop
- Implement data-driven solutions to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize supply chain
- Ensure that project management tasks are aligned within all current business operations teams.
- The ability to work successfully inside the project management team, ensuring the successful transition and
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain analytics and
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing analytical support and insights to cross-functional
- Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures
- Interface with all levels of management
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain management, operations research, statistics, engineering, or a
- Prefer MBA, APICS CPIM certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or ISM CPSM certification.
- Prefer minimum 5 years domain knowledge in the Supply Chain Distribution Solutions space.
- Proven experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis or related field.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prefer direct knowledge and experience within a food supply chain organization.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Prefer experience with ERP (Netsuite), Planning (Blue Yonder/JDA), Network design software (Llamasoft or
