Respect Manufacturing is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Denver, CO

Quality Line Associate III

Respect Manufacturing is one of the fastest growing Contract Manufacturers in Colorado with state of the art R&D services that is FDA registered, certified as CDPHE, cGMP, USDA Organic & OTC, producing ingestibles, dietary supplements,and topicals for hemp related products.

Responsibilities:

  • Key member of Food Safety Team
  • Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Create tests for quality control of products
  • Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
  • Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products
  • Assists in quality control and assurance operations
  • Monitor the efficiency and overall quality of produced items
  • Assemble and prepare goods for shipment.
  • Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products
  • If QA I is not available - Complete item weight checks every 15 minutes
  • If QA I is not available - Assist with completing and recording ATP swab
  • Report any out of specifications to Compliance Manager
  • Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process.
  • Maintain the quality and upkeep of production line equipment.
  • Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations.
  • Manage reworks and failed units
  • manage a clean working area. To include basic housekeeping taking out the trash sweeping and mopping of the floors, cleaning of the equipment.
  • Following all SOP’s and company policies.
  • Ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Complete Daily Food Safety Checklist
  • Adhere to workplace safety practices and procedures.
  • Read work orders and perform work assigned by the production manager.
  • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
  • Place finished goods on designated pallets as needed.
  • Notifies the supervisor of any quality, mechanical or material issues.

This position reports to the Compliance Manager.

This position also has 2 direct reporting associates.

Requirements:

· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time

· Manual Dexterity

· Attention to detail

· Light assembly working with small bottles & cartons

· Frequent lifting, reaching and carrying objects up to 60 lbs.

· The ability to follow set Standard Operating Procedures

· Dependable transportation to and from work

· Observe Company Policies & OSHA safety rules at all times

Requirements/Experience

  • A high school qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous. 4 years’ experience in an operations, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred.
  • (Preferred but not required) Knowledge of health and safety laws.
  • (Preferred but not required) knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Attention to detail & Quality Control
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships with individuals representing a wide diversity of disciplines and levels of sophistication in a collaborative environment.
  • Deadline and deliverable driven individual with an ability to adapt to unexpected or abnormal results or situations.
  • Ability to participate with others as a member of the team to ensure that demanding and difficult projects are handled smoothly and cooperatively to enhance the success of the projects and maintain strong relationships within all parts of the company.
  • Self-starter driven to perform with the ability to organize and execute tasks
  • (Preferred but not required) - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Experience at an FDA regulated biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturer.

Position Offers:

· This position offers full time & part time W-2 employment

· Regular hours Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:30pm, 2-15 min breaks(paid) and a 30 min lunch(unpaid)

· Part time and overtime hours available depending on demand.

· Generous paid PTO vacation after 90 days qualification

· Associates will be eligible for annual company bonus

· Paid bi-weekly

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
