Production Associate

Respect Manufacturing is one of the fastest growing Contract Manufacturers in Colorado with state of the art R&D services that is FDA registered, certified as CDPHE, cGMP, USDA Organic & OTC, producing ingestibles, dietary supplements,and topicals for hemp related products.

We are looking to hire Production Associates.

Summary

Responsible for performing a variety of support duties in one or more manufacturing areas. Duties may be related to product assembly, product cleaning, stocking, packing, preparing materials for production, installing, maintaining machinery & processes. Assistance with product test and troubleshooting, and problem-solving, performs daily activities and maintains production areas in an audit-ready, neat, clean and orderly state.

Responsibilities:

· Work as a key Associate team member to achieve daily production output targets

· Attention to detail in all activities

· Quality Control (spot checking products and packaging)

· Rotate through tasks for specific production processes on different machines

• Ensure that the workspace is clean and neat.
• Ensure that health and safety laws are followed

Requirements:

· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time

· Manual Dexterity

· Attention to detail

· Light assembly working with small bottles & cartons

· Frequent lifting, reaching and carrying objects up to 60 lbs.

· The ability to follow set Standard Operating Procedures

· Dependable transportation to and from work

· Observe Company Policies & OSHA safety rules at all times

· Must be able to pass a background check

Requirements/Experience

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous. 4 years’ experience in an operations, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety laws.
• Excellent knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Attention to detail & Quality Control
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships with individuals representing a wide diversity of disciplines and levels of sophistication in a collaborative environment.
• Deadline and deliverable driven individual with an ability to adapt to unexpected or abnormal results or situations.
• Ability to participate with others as a member of the team to ensure that demanding and difficult projects are handled smoothly and cooperatively to enhance the success of the projects and maintain strong relationships within all parts of the company.
• Self-starter driven to perform with the ability to organize and execute tasks
• Preferred - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Experience at an FDA regulated biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturer.
• Preferred - Ability to operate power tools and warehouse vehicles such as forklifts.

Position Offers:

· This position offers full time & part time W-2 employment

· Regular hours Monday - Friday 6am to 4:30pm, 2-15 min breaks(paid) and a 30 min lunch(unpaid)

· Part time and overtime hours available depending on demand.

· Generous paid PTO vacation after 90 days qualification

The Production Associate is responsible for the production of our products in the warehouse. They will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and sorting our products to ensure that all orders are accurately delivered to the correct destination.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, label, ship)
• Receive and process all incoming materials and equipment
• Organize warehouse space using software
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sweeping ceiling.
• Packaging of product in boxes or bags (including printing labels) according to specifications.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and write English in both written and spoken form.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
