Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical EIT to join our full-service engineering team! We design innovative world-class projects utilizing state-of-the-art technologies. This is a hands-on design position with the Anchorage and Matsu Region Facilities Market Sectors. Your primary role will include electrical design for facilities supporting new construction and renovations in collaboration with architects, civil, structural, mechanical, and fire protection engineers. Duties may also include construction inspection of facility and utility or transportation projects. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work Schedule: This is a regular full-time position with benefits. The employee will work 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday) from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Compensation: Salary will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience. We offer a comprehensive fringe-benefits package that consists of medical, vision, dental, holidays, paid leave, 401(k) Plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), continuing education, and professional society memberships. RESPEC is a 100% employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the ESOP after a qualifying period.
Office Location(s): Anchorage and/or Palmer, Alaska.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Engineers in calculations.
- Assist Engineers in code review and research.
- Assist Engineers in placing devices in Drawings and circuiting.
- Assist Engineers in design and Construction Administration (CA).
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam, or ability to pass the exam within 6 months.
- Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
- Motivated, energetic, and driven to take on new tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Detail oriented & organized.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Desire to learn and advance in technical skills and understanding.
- Revit experience.
- SKM, Elum Tools, or other Electrical software experience.
- Experience with construction.
- Cold region/Alaska experience.
- Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations.
