Job Description

· Performing testing activities, including functional, integration, system, performance, stress and regression testing, both manual and automated tests, to ensure maximum coverage

· Triaging and diligently logging defects, including acquiring all appropriate logs and environment

· Liaising with the development and program management teams for issue resolution

· Developing test tools, scripting, test cases and test automation

· Applying structured software testing methodology to develop, maintain and review test plans, test strategies, and test cases

· Generating software test reports and summaries

· Ensuring features work as designed and meet all requirement specifications

· Analyzing requirements to generate new test plans and test procedures

· Determining testing efforts from project requirements

Advantageous Skills:

· Experience with TestRail for test case management

· Experience with Android software including device logging and diagnostics

· Basic development experience for Android Applications

· Solid scripting skills (Perl, Python, Java, etc.) and working knowledge of C/C

· Knowledge of code coverage analysis and functional completeness testing

Qualifications

· Diploma in Engineering Technology or Computer Science

· Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in embedded software testing

· Solid understanding of test planning, test requirements, development of test scripts and test cases, risk assessment, test execution, defect management and reporting

· Ability to analyze and interpret requirement specifications

· Excellent oral and written English communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal, and collaboration skills

· Strong individual initiative and resourcefulness

· Good knowledge of test case management and defect tracking tool
