ResourceMFG is Hiring a Sanitation Technician Near Columbus, MS

Hours: 3:30p-1a

Pay: $12/hr

The Sanitation Technician performs repetitive work station operations in the Sanitation Department. This position is responsible for all activities in and around the building requiring cleaning and sanitizing.

Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) with regards to sanitation
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee and environmental standards
  • Adheres to company Lock Out Tag Out, ZES (Zero Energy State) and HACCP procedures
  • Performance of cleaning food equipment and food processing rooms per SOP requirements
  • Routine Sanitation work including but not limited to area assessment, organization, cleaning, sanitizing and auditing
  • Controls work orders, tool checklists, chemical control, Master Sanitation Schedule and other operation’s related GMP’s
  • Writes work orders
  • Maintains a forklift operators certification
  • Assemble and disassemble assigned equipment in a safe manner
  • Clean both warehouse equipment and the entire warehouse area
  • Safely apply industrial foam cleaners and sanitizers
  • Communicate issues and concerns to Sanitation Supervisor
  • Other duties as manager sees fit

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
