We are now seeking Mechanical Inspector for a sheet metal company located in San Jose, CA!
Shift time: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (mM-F) and 2nd Shift M-Th (2:30pm-1:00AM)
Pay rate:$20-$23 DOE
Job Description:
1) Reads and interprets materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.
2) Completes necessary procedures to satisfy licensing requirements, and indicates concurrence with acceptance or rejection decisions.
3) Cleans and maintains test equipment and instruments to ensure proper functioning.
4) Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjusts process or assembly equipment to meet standards.
5) Reads dials and meters to ensure that equipment is operating according to specifications.
6) Discards or rejects products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.

Requirements:
- Prior Inspecting experience with Sheetmetal
• Able to accurately read blueprints
• Able to use hand caliper and height gauge to measure parts
• Able to comfortably lift parts up to 35 lbs.
