ResourceMFG is Hiring a QA Technician Near Seattle, WA

We have a direct hire opening for a QA Technician in Tukwila at a packaging company specializing in low-density polyethylene film and protective flexible packaging products, such as flat bottom seal bags, gusseted bags, roll stock, and more. This is a graveyard shift position!

They use a blown film extrusion process to create the products that meet the high standards of customers in a variety of industries like baking, seafood, meat and poultry, and more.

In this role, perform quality inspections and checks to ensure every batch of plastic bags meets the company’s high standards and specifications.

Direct Hire Opportunity – Be on our client’s payroll from Day 1!

Pay and Shift Information:

  • Pay: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
  • Graveyard shift: 11 pm-7:30 am; Mon-Fri

Job Duties of the QA Technician:

  • Perform quality inspections and checks, ensuring every batch of plastic bags meets the company’s high standards and specifications
  • Document and report any quality issues, defects, or deviations from specifications to the Quality Manager
  • Measure, test, and visually inspect the products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to address and resolve quality-related issues
  • Help develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines
  • Interpret and apply quality specifications, work instructions, and testing procedures
  • Engage in root cause analysis and initiatives for continuous improvement to boost product quality and consistency

Job Requirements of the QA Technician:

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail for thorough and accurate quality inspections
  • Have excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and problem resolution
  • Use measurement tools, testing equipment, and quality control techniques
  • Drive continuous improvement at the production facility
