Production Helpers Needed in the Lower Valley Area of El Paso

Pay Rate: $14/hr

Shift: 2^nd shift 3pm – 11pm and/or 3^rd shift 11pm – 7am

Job Responsibilities:

• Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other unskilled general labor.
• May attach identifying tags to containers ormark them with identifying information.
• May read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• May record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• May move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand.
• May sort cargo – before loading and unloading.
• May assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
• May pack containers and re-pack damaged containers

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 - 6 months experience in manufacturing
• Ability to work standing long hours
• Analytical and problem solving ability
• Team Player and detail oriented
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in task of routine
• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
• Must be available to train in the 1^st shift the first two weeks
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to be flexible with schedule
