0-3ResourceMFG is immediately hiring for Forklift Operator Entry Level position at Evonik!!

Location: Lafayette, IN 

Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm OR 6:00pm-6:00am, 3 days on 3 days off

Pay starts: $17.50-$18.38, potential for raises at 90 and 120 days.

Training Required on 8-hour days for up to 6 weeks (7am-4pm). Once training is complete, associates will be assigned to either Days or Nights 12-hr shift decided by Dept.

Tiers Day Night

Tier I: $17.50 $18.38

Tier II: $18.25 $19.16

Tier III: $19.00 $19.95

Job Summary:

• Work with SAP system when moving material
• Inspect forklift daily
• Documents work according to standards
• Learns and executes basic job operations
• Learns relevant policies and procedures and applies them to the job
• Reads, understands and follows the Safety and Environmental cautions provided with the Batch Production record, MSDS or other safety and environmental guidance
• Maintains facility housekeeping to be inspection ready at all times
• Performs transactions in SAP
• Performs raw material movements throughout the plant site
• Completes cycle counts of raw materials
• Helps prepare materials for shipments
• Helps investigate inventory discrepancies
• Completes building inspections and documents findings accurately
• Assists Evonik operators for processing tasks

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and valid driver's license
• Flexibility of working either Days or Nights 12-hr shift after training is complete
•  Attention to details
• Strong trouble shooting and some mechanical aptitude are helpful
• Be flexible to work either Day or Night shift
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds from floor to waist without assistance on a routine basis
• Resume required to interview (Second on-site interview required)
