This position is NOT remote. Experience in Manufacturing preferred.

Summary:

As the Financial Analyst, you will be a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis Team. The role reports to the MIS Director. This position will work closely with the business financial teams and various corporate function leads on financial projects and analyses. Key responsibilities include supporting business analysis, reporting, budgeting, strategic initiatives, and various ad hoc projects.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide support for financial modeling, business case analysis, and financial/management reporting
  • Responsible for periodic reporting, variance analysis, and updating the monthly finance presentation for management
  • Assist the Operations Department with various monthly forecasting metrics
  • Provide analytics and support for the annual budgeting process, including inputting and reconciling the budgets in the Data Rails application
  • Perform Ad Hoc and decision-support analysis as requested by management
  • Develop ways to continually improve processes to ensure timely and accurate communication of information
  • Assist with preparing presentations, background papers, and other information for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors. Respond to ad-hoc requests from Senior Leadership.
  • Assist departments and develop projected financial results throughout the fiscal year by working with departments, external sources, and Finance personnel. The results would provide validation/modification to the working budget and assist with the long-range financial planning model.

Qualification Requirements:

2-4 years in finance or business analysis, preferably in Inventory and Manufacturing.

  • Experience in applying finance principles to business operations
  • Proven ability to utilize and quickly adapt to new software and reporting systems
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience including budget development, financial analysis, and financial statement preparation.
  • Excellent administrative, oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Information Systems skills.
  • Ability to act independently, understand how decisions fit within the overall organization agenda, and navigate the environment.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

Job Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel as well as PowerPoint skills

  • Familiarity with Epicor’s Prophet (P21) Inventory Management software program.
  • Working knowledge of R, Python, or another similar statistical-based programming language.
  • Knowledge of Tableau data visualization software
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude, and a supportive management style
  • Entrepreneurial in spirit, willing to take initiative and voice opinions promoting good change.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and engage all levels of the organization

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
