Crate Assembler

Job Duties: 

• Construct and assemble pre made shipping containers such as wooden crates, pallets, and boxes for shipping purposes while ensuring the product is packed correctly and safely to prevent product damage or injury to others.
• Utilize order delivery sheets to pick a wide variety of items. 
• Assemble proper packaging following specific instructions, and guidelines.
• Work with power tools, air tools, and measuring tools. 
• Perform other similar or related duties as required and follow stand work instructions. 
• Observe and obey all safety rules, practices and procedures. 
• Safely operate a forklift for loading of trucks or material movement. 
• Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma
• Accurate mathematic and measuring skills
• Ability to operate a forklift 
• Wood working skills
