1st shift Mon-Thurs 6:30am-4:30pm. Friday OT

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Review jobs with shop supervisor to determine/design fixturing required and machine operations methods for job.
  • Use Mastercam or AutoDesk Fusion360 to model cut paths and program jobs accordingly.
  • Revise existing programs as needed and adjust programs during the manufacturing process if deemed necessary to increase efficiency and quality of product produced.
  • Work with shop supervisor to determine best tooling to use for the job.
  • Work as a team with the shop supervisor, craftsman, quality control and other manufacturing staff to provide solutions to complex and challenging manufacturing problems.
  • Standardize programming workflow.
  • Touch base with machinists during set up and running of job to ensure that their program is operating the way it was intended too. Course correction if required.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide input on potential bottlenecks and potential challenges.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Internal desire to work in a team environment to be apart something great.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • 5 years experience CNC programming using CAD/CAM software
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints with multiple views, sectional views, etc.
  • Basic GD&T interpretation and application understanding. (preferred)
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient and positive attitude. Solution focused.
  • Ability to work on the computer for 9 hours a day.
  • Overtime should be anticipated for this position. (based upon workload)
  • Welcoming mindset to constructive criticism and feedback to make manufacturing processes more efficient and improve team dynamics.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Design, Aerospace Engineering preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
