Job Duties and Responsibilities CNC Operator:Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.CNC Operator must understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.CNC operator must prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machinesCNC Operator will supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better resultInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Skills and Requirements for CNC Operator:High School Diploma or equivalent1-2 year CNC experience preferredSkill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement toolsAbility to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawingsMechanical aptitude and good math skillsMust be able to read a dial caliper or equivalent and measure in thousandths of an inchAssures the cut quality and detail orientatedReports directly to Manufacturing SupervisorWorks closely with Team Leaders, Craftsman, and CNC Router Programmer
