- Day time hours
- $50,000- 70,000 per year, depending on experience.
Assistant Superintendent-Construction Job Duties:
- Manage ongoing projects and on-site construction team.
- Assist the Superintendent by coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with the client and team.
- Direct and coordinate the purchase of project materials.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and schedule activities of subcontractors.
- Review daily reports, subcontractor activities, vendor invoices, and any job costs reports.
- Ensure safety meetings are being conducted, proper PPE being worn, site postings and inspections are being done.
- Report to the superintendent.
Job Requirements as a Assistant Superintendent-Construction:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Foreman or equivalent role, in the construction industry.
- Must have a vast knowledge of the construction industry.
- Have experience in job safety requirements, planning and scheduling building trades.
- Proficient in Microsoft outlook, excel and word.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift.
