Position Overview: We seek a compassionate Special Education Teacher with a Master’s degree in Special Education and experience in Jewish Studies. The role involves developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Special Education.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Prior experience with students with disabilities; experience in Jewish Studies preferred.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to student growth.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Conduct assessments to guide instruction and adjust educational plans.
  • Create a structured, positive classroom environment and manage behaviors effectively.
  • Communicate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams about student progress.
  • Engage in continuous learning in special education and Jewish Studies.
  • Incorporate Jewish values and traditions into the curriculum.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday 8:30 am-4 pm

Friday 8:30 am-2pm
