MIS, a ReSource Pro company, is seeking an entry-level Underwriting Associate to support external clients’ policy processing functions. The candidate will report to the Underwriting Manager and will be responsible for day to processing of Workers Compensation policies, binders, endorsements, cancellations and reinstatements, and final audit transactions. This is an entry-level position with no experience in insurance or Workers' Compensation necessary.

After 3 months you will...

• Respond promptly to client needs and requests over email
• Complete data entry and processing of Workers' Compensation underwriting workflows
• Exercise problem solving skills to resolve or escalate issues or concerns as they arise
• Cross train with MIS team members to ensure effective backup support

What you need to be successful...

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills; friendly, professional demeanor with business acumen
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Ability to juggle and support multiple priorities
